Antique French Ormolu-Mounts Sèvres Style Pair of Porcelain Vases Circa 1860s. An amazing pair of antique French ormolu-mounted Sèvres style porcelain covered vases. Of baluster form, fine quality of hand painted scenes depicting socialite couples enjoying themselves with-in the garden surroundings, each vase is lidded, the cover decorated with flame motif finial, with the vase rims decorated with gilt bronze laurel band, with face masks long gilt bronze handles. The back of each vase enhanced in two tone matte and burnished gold leaf floral decor, with-in leaf like garland wreath frame. Each vase supported upon square form base with doré bronze wreaths of flowers rim design.
Each scenery plaque hand signed by the artist, Second half of the 19th century. Overall very good or near excellent condition, no damage, no missing elements, no cracks to porcelain. Marked: double crossed blue under-glaze arrows. Handle to handle 7 1/4 in.
